Terms of Sale

1. Who we are and scope

These terms apply when you buy goods from us via this Site (www.caitlinslittlestudio.co.uk). We sell only to consumers.

If there is any conflict between these Consumer Terms of Sale and the Website Terms of Use, these Consumer Terms of Sale apply to your purchase.

2. Placing orders and contract formation

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the goods.

We will send you an order confirmation email. Your contract with us is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation email (or otherwise confirm dispatch).

3. Prices and payment (payment at checkout)

Prices are shown in GBP and no VAT is chargeable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout.

Payment is taken at checkout. If we cannot accept your order, we will refund any payment taken.

4. Delivery

Delivery options and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. Delivery dates are estimates.

Risk passes to you when the goods are delivered to the address you provided. Title passes when we have received payment in full.

Review invitations. After your order is completed we may send you emails and/or test messages asking what you think of your pieces. It is a sent from our own website. You can ignore it, and nothing changes if you do. We do not pay for reviews and we do not edit them.

5. Made-to-order resin products (consumer specification)

Some items are made to order, including resin products made to your specification (for example, specific items, colours, finishes or combinations).

You must check your choices carefully before placing your order. Once production has started, we may not be able to change or cancel your order.

Important: Made-to-order/personalised goods are generally not eligible for cancellation for change of mind (see section 6.6), but your rights for faulty or misdescribed goods still apply (section 7).

6. Your right to cancel (change of mind), returns and refunds

6.1 Cooling-off period (most goods)

If you are a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel most online purchases within 14 days of the day after you receive the goods (or the last item in a split delivery), without giving any reason.

6.2 How to cancel

To cancel, email us at orders@caitlinslittlestudio.co.uk with your name, order number and the items you want to cancel/return.

6.3 Returning goods

You must send the goods back to us within 14 days of telling us you want to cancel. We shall provide you with the return address and return code once we have approved the return.

You should keep proof of posting. We recommend using a tracked service for higher-value items.

6.4 Who pays return postage

Unless the goods are faulty or not as described (see section 7), you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods.

6.5 Refunds (including delivery charges)

If you cancel within the cooling-off period, we will refund:

If you chose a more expensive delivery option (for example, express delivery), we will refund up to the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option.

We may make a deduction from your refund if the goods have been handled more than is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

We will make refunds within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or (if earlier) within 14 days of you providing evidence that you have sent them back.

6.6 Exclusions from the change-of-mind cancellation right

The 14-day cancellation right does not apply to made-to-order or clearly personalised goods, including made-to-order resin products made to your specification.

7. Faulty or misdescribed goods

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. If goods are faulty or not as described, contact us at returns@caitlinslittlestudio.co.uk with your order number and details (and photos where helpful). We will arrange an appropriate remedy (repair, replacement, price reduction or refund, as applicable).

8. Our right to cancel

We may cancel an order if the item is unavailable, there is a pricing error, we suspect fraud, or delivery is not possible. If we cancel, we will refund any payment taken.

9. Liability

Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by us.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights.
